The TLC Family Church made an offer to purchase the Florida Department of Citrus’ previous headquarters building in Lakeland for $1.22 million, which includes a nonrefundable deposit of $50,000 that the Florida Citrus Commission (FCC) would keep if for any reason TLC did not close on the property within 50 days. On April 27, the FCC made a counteroffer, which TLC expressed interest in, for $1.275 million.Â
