The EPA has requested to postpone requiring producers to get EPA Clean Water Act permits to use pesticides in or near water from April 9, 2011 to October 31, 2011. But Adam Basford with the Florida Farm Bureau says that would still create a burden for producers and therefore they are supporting legislation in the House that would eliminate the need for the extra permits.
