At the annual Extension Farm Field Day held yesterday at the West Florida Research and Education Center research farm near Jay, Florida, Dr. Bob Kemerait with the University of Georgia, told growers white mold has been terrible in peanuts this year.
And University of Florida peanut specialist Dr. Barry Tillman echoed that fact telling growers the conditions have been just right for white mold in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
