Even the dinner placemat was informative at Florida Farm Bureau’s (FFB) legislative briefing Monday night in Tallahassee. FFB members from all over Florida are in the state Capitol this week to discuss agriculture concerns and initiatives. In this report, hear FFB President John Hoblick explain why lawmakers should not do anything to hurt agriculture’s ability to keep the state’s economy moving, particularly as other industries are in such a slump these days. This week’s Farm Bureau Days activities in Tallahassee include the briefing dinner Monday night and visits with lawmakers Tuesday before the big legislative reception Tuesday afternoon.
