The 2008 Citrus Expo has officially been cancelled due to weather forecasts related to Tropical Storm Fay and the issuance of a Hurricane Warning for Southwest Florida. And while it’s unfortunate for many reasons, this is a final decision and official notice that Citrus Expo has been cancelled for this week.
But while Southeast AgNet President and CEO Gary Cooper said we regret this decision, due to the fact IFAS researchers have very timely information put together they were planning to pass on to growers at the Expo, work is underway to possibly hold a seminar only session late next week to still do this.
