Citrus Growers in Florida’s northern production areas will have an opportunity to join the Florida Citrus Mutual discussion this week on Thursday at the Lake County Ag Center in Tavares. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. and will include lunch. 
Mutual also announces the addition of Casey Welch to its staff. Welch leaves a similar position at Florida Farm Bureau to join Citrus Mutual. In addition to details on these items, this report also contains dates and info about the 2007 Citrus Expo. Growers are urged to mark the calendars for Citrus Expo 2007, August 22 & 23, at Lee Civic Center Ft Myers. If you are a grove owner, grower, production manager or decision-maker in the operations of your grove, it is a program you won’t want to miss.
