In his report to Citrus Commissioners this month, Florida Citrus Industry Research Coordinating Council Chairman (FCIRCC) Tim Anglea says the group will soon make a decision to choose its first executive director. In this report Anglea discusses the process and the need for someone full-time to direct the Council’s efforts. This group will be an important part of this year’s effort to secure more state funding for citrus research.
