USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Florida has announced this meeting is postponed. A rescheduled date will be announced soon, but the State Technical Committee will not be held on November 19th. We will announce the new date once it has been set.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Florida will conduct a State Technical Committee meeting on Nov. 19 at the Florida Farm Bureau building in Gainesville. Nina Bhattacharyya, assistant state conservationist for partnerships in Florida, says the meeting is open to the public.
NRCS will give an overview of the 2018 farm bill programs and conservation easements, and will solicit recommendations for establishing technical guidelines, program criteria and priorities for conservation in Florida. Individuals who require special accommodations or materials in an alternative format or language should contact Bhattacharyya at 352-338-9554 by Nov. 12.
