Deadline for Feral Swine Eradication Signup Nearing

Dan USDA-NRCS

deadline

Here is a quick reminder there are only a few days left until the deadline to sign up for the Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program. The program, implemented jointly by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Animal and Plant Health and Inspection Service (APHIS), will consist of three coordinated components: feral swine removal by APHIS; restoration efforts supported by NRCS; and assistance to producers for feral swine control provided through partnership agreements with non-federal partners.

To be considered for funding, proposals must address the needs of those identified pilot projects. All applications must be submitted electronically through grants.gov by 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Aug. 19, 2019. For more information, contact your local NRCS office.
