Tamarixia for Biological Control on Asian Citrus Psyllids

tamarixia-radiataWe told you last week that a new state-of-the art facility to improve the health of Florida’s endangered citrus industry opened in LaCrosse, as the Florida Citrus Repository will expand the Citrus Germplasm Introduction Program. It opens just four months after the expansion of the state’s Dundee Biological Control Laboratory, also integral to Florida’s fight against citrus greening, as it rears the beneficial insect Tamarixia radiata.
