First Post-Freeze Citrus Forecast Cuts Florida Orange Crop 2%

The Wednesday USDA citrus crop forecast reduced the expected Florida orange crop forecast by three million boxes, to 140 million boxes. Grapefruit remained unchanged at 19.6 million boxes. This forecast was able to assess some damage from December freezes; further assessments of the freeze damage will be made in future reports. Find the full forecast report here.
