Last week the Florida Agriculture Financial Management Conference was held near Orlando. The conference addressed key financial issues that growers and producers face. One of the speakers was Robin Safley, executive director of Feeding Florida, the state’s network of food banks. She told Southeast AgNet’s Ernie Neff that some excess food produced by Florida farmers is donated to food banks and other places.
