Republican members of the Senate Finance Committee boycotted last weeks mock markup of the draft implementing bills for the South Korea, Colombia and Panama free trade agreements due to disagreeing with the inclusion of the expanded Trade Adjustment Assistance in the Korea FTA legislation. Florida Farm Bureau National Affairs Director, Adam Basford says they hope a deal can be made in order to pass the agreements since all three have great potential for ag exports.
