Candidates Douglas Ackerman, Charles Powell and Gregory Venner are slated to undergo private, one-on-one interviews with the members of the Florida Citrus Commission’s search committee on Friday, Dec. 9. Department of Citrus Puts Positive Spin on OJ and Grapefruit
Research indicating that drinking orange juice can actually give people a positive, optimistic outlook is being put to use by the Florida Department of Citrus. Public relations director Karen Mathis tells about that effort, as well as the department’s public relations support for grapefruit and grapefruit juice. She also tells why the department’s grapefruit target audience has shifted to young women in recent years. Listen to her report.
