With the USDA’s recent announcement of the largest contiguous easement acquisition in the history of the Wetlands Reserve Program here in Florida, NRCS Chief Dave White says the 26 thousand acre major wetland restoration project is just one example of how the 2008 Farm Bill made WRP a much more assessable option for producers.
