Ginger, turmeric, and lemon are no doubt three of the most popular healing and natural foods. And, all three should probably always be included on your weekly grocery shopping list. One reason they are so incredible is that each of them come with an array of benefits that can be used in multiple ways to benefit the brain and body.
Ginger is probably known best for its anti-inflammatory properties. It is a digestive aid, metabolism booster, and stress-reliever. Ginger also contains grounding properties to balance energy levels.
Turmeric is an antioxidant known for warding off cancers, boosts brain levels, and aids in lowering the risk of heart disease.
Lemons also have their amazing healing and healthful benefits, too. Such as a digestive tonic, mood balancing effects, vitamin C source, and a detoxification aid. Lemons also can be used on the skin as a natural toner to cleanse excess oils.
All three can be great additions to be any food and beverage. Even then that can be used for significant healing properties on the human body.
