Florida farmers, ranchers, researchers, agricultural business operators and conservationists participated in a forum on cover crops and soil health earlier this week and in the following interview, Wendy-Lin Bartels, assistant research scientist for the UF Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, gives her thoughts of the meeting and what the next steps will be.
