Laser Labeling Could be Expanded Far Beyond Citrus

After years of research, the final comment period is underway on Food and Drug Administration approval of laser light labeling of citrus. But UF’s Ed Exteberria says the technology is now advancing to other forms of produce and could eventually branch out to other parts of the ag sector.
