Monsanto continues to work on the issue of glyphosate resistant pigweed. AL Cotton Gin Concerns
Cotton acreage is declining in Alabama which could have a detrimental effect on the gins in the state, according to Hassey Brooks with the state department of agriculture. Hassey Brooks is the environmental biologist with the state department of agriculture who works with Commissioner Sparks on a variety of issues that impact Alabama’s producers and consumers.
