The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries (ADAI) held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, April 15, for their new laboratory in Auburn, AL. Breaking ground in November of 2022, Commissioner Rick Pate expressed excitement at the laboratory's swift completion. Replacing the over 50 year old Gilmer-Turnham Building, the newly constructed facility will house Alabama's State Chemical Testing Laboratory and Pesticide Residue Laboratory.
