At the Alabama Livestock Auctions for the week ending March 11, sold cattle receipts at the 21 markets were an estimated 13,200 head compared to 8,245 last week and 17,221 a year ago. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. All feeder classes sold steady to 4.00 lower. Trade was active with moderate demand on feeder cattle.

Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and bulls were unevenly steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder classes were mostly 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Replacement cows were firm.
