But, to be considered for fiscal year 2022 funding, ACEP applications must be submitted by November 5, 2021.

ACEP has two components, Agricultural Land Easements (ALE) and Wetlands Reserve Easements (WRE). Applications for the ACEP-ALE are accepted from eligible partners, while WRE applications are accepted directly from producers on eligible lands.

Georgia NRCS has a reminder that signup for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) also ends November 5th. Through EQIP, assistance is available to help producers and landowners plan and implement conservation practices to provide environmental benefits on cropland, pasture, forestland, and associated agricultural land, including animal feeding operations.

More information can be found on the GA NRCS website.
