Despite the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought, U.S. meat exports actually enjoyed a fairly strong year in 2020. Overall demand and consumption for U.S. beef globally last year was resilient, according to U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) President and CEO, Dan Halstrom. He recently told Southeast AgNet that USMEF’s bread and butter is their overseas infrastructure.
