Georgia NRCS Seeking Proposals by May 15

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Georgia is requesting proposals to assist with implementing key resource priorities. Conservation minded organizations who can enhance conservation planning technical assistance for pollinator habitat, grazing and soil health, as well as program delivery are encouraged to submit their proposals by 11:59 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), May 15, 2020.

NRCS in Georgia anticipates approximately $2,500,000 in funding to be available through this notice of funding for fiscal year 2020. Potential applicants should review the announcement of funding available at www.grants.gov. It includes application materials and submission procedures.

This announcement is authorized and funded under the Soil and Water Conservation Technical Assistance Program, Environmental Quality Incentives Program and the Conservation Stewardship Program. Projects can last from one to four years.
