Everett Griner: “Agri-View” Radio Commentary Host, & “Granddaddy of Southeast AgNet” Passes at age 93

Southeast AgNet / AgNet Media is saddened to hear of the loss of long-time farm broadcaster and Agri-View commentary host Everett Griner, who died this morning (03.11.2020) in Moultrie, GA.

Everett was truly one of a kind and entertained his radio audience like few others could, while sharing news and commentary for and about agricultural producers of the region. 

Here’s a few links to recent feature news posts about Griner, whose handwritten Agri-View scripts were recently included into the official state archives of the state of Georgia that are permanently housed at the University of Georgia Library in Athens.

Everett’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shane Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Murphy Cemetery.

          The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
