On Tuesday, Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries (ADAI) John 
McMillan, along with Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) Chris Blankenship, announced the purchase of new testing equipment for the State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. McMillan told Southeast AgNet the equipment will be dedicated to testing samples for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) found in white-tailed deer.
