Delegates at Florida Farm Bureau’s 2017 Annual Meeting have re-elected John L. Hoblick as the organization’s President. The Volusia County farmer has served as the organization’s chief executive since 2006.

Hoblick, a third generation cut foliage producer from DeLeon Springs, began his involvement with Farm Bureau nearly three decades ago as the leader of what is now known as the Young Farmers and Ranchers Leadership Group.

“I am deeply grateful to Florida Farm Bureau members for their continued support and goodwill,” Hoblick said. “With their dedication and engagement Farm Bureau has completed a most successful year of program activity, operational development, and service. I look forward to many new accomplishments as we work together in the future.”

A unanimous vote for the two-year term was taken during the Nov. 1 general session of Florida Farm Bureau’s 2017 Annual Meeting held at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach.
