Cotton Harvest Continues to Trail ‘Average’ Progress

In Alabama, as of this past Sunday, 94 percent of the cotton crop had been harvested. That compares to 90 percent the week before while the 5-year average is 89 percent. In Georgia, 93 percent of the cotton crop had been harvested. That compares to 87 percent the week before while the 5-year average is only 80 percent.
