The U.S. beef industry says it is losing a fortune every day that the U.S. Congress fails to ratify the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal with 11 Asian-Pacific nations. And now as the Japanese Diet prepares to pass TPP, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Director of International Trade, Kent Bacus, discusses what this move means for U.S. passage of the agreement.
