Obama Administration Pushing for TPP during Lame-Duck Session

Trans Pacific PartnershipPresident Barack Obama is forging ahead in an attempt to get Congress to vote on the Trans-Pacific Partnership following the election. The Wall Street Journal writes the Obama Administration will push for the “long-shot” bid immediately after Congress returns to Washington, D.C. for the lame-duck session. According to Ambassador Darci Vetter, Chief Agricultural Negotiator for the U.S., the 12 nation trade agreement is finished and all we need is congress to ratify it.
