The 2016 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show is winding down for another year, but many have been on hand for the annual event in San Diego, California. And while many issues were discussed, there was some good news to report. One issue we seem to talk about at the end of each year is tax extenders but according to Colin Woodall, vice president of government affairs for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, 2015 ended with some positive action on that issue.
