The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will hold a referendum on the Florida Peach Marketing Order as requested by petition of members of the industry. Ballots will be sent to all known growers and first handlers of peaches east and south of the Suwannee River and will be available at all county Extension offices in this region on January 5, 2016. All ballots must be received in Tallahassee no later than 4:30 p.m., January 22, 2016.
