You may have seen recent news reports about the type of Thanksgiving meal astronauts aboard the space station ate this year. Well, if research efforts by a couple of faculty with the University of Florida/IFAS Department of Horticultural Sciences team work out, those meals in space may change. Dr. Jack Payne, senior vice president for Agriculture and Natural Resources, explains.
