Verdant Kitchen has been a Georgia Grown member since their founding in 2012 and is a favorite of Georgia Grown Senior Executive Chef Holly Chute who loves the clean vibrant ginger flavor.
“My favorite dish using the honey is sautéed Georgia shrimp and ginger honey with a little garlic and Georgia pecan oil,” Chute said. “I like to use the syrup to poach pears or apples to use in desserts. The syrup heated with some bourbon and a little butter makes a wonderful sauce for bread pudding.”
