The Gator Citrus Club is a University of Florida club comprised of students and faculty with a passion for citrus. The club aims to teach members about the intricacies of the citrus industry so they can help to better inform the public of the industry’s issues. AgNet Media’s Gary Cooper caught up with the head of the Gator Citrus Club, Katie Rogers, at the annual UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) TailGator event before Saturday’s game. The club set up a booth at the TailGator to help raise money for the club and to inform others about the club and its mission.
