FL Ag & Legislative Leaders Not At All Happy Re: Governor Vetoes

2010 Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Larry Cretul Florida Farm Bureau led a statewide agriculture chorus Wednesday calling for a Legislative Override of the Governor’s recent vetoes of two major agriculture bills. Ben ParksBoth bills passed with only two individual votes against them, which means these pieces of legislation garnered rare support by members of both parties, urban and rural interests, liberal and conservative lawmakers alike…yet the Governor still chose to veto them after legislative leaders say he had pledged his support.
