Beginning Monday there will be a new voice bringing you the ag news on Southeast Agnet.
Julie McPeake has been working for Southeast Agnet since this summer and has already been doing “This Land of Ours” programs and special reports. Starting next week she will take over the news programs.
Julie comes to Southeast AgNet after three years as the public relations director for the Georgia Beef Board. Her experience also includes past work with Florida Ag in the Classroom and Florida Farm Bureau. She was raised on a diversified livestock and crop operation in Florida and now works with her husband on their purebred seed stock business.
As for me, after almost seven years this go round doing programs for southeast agriculture, I will be concentrating more on the business I operate with my husband Chuck – ZimmComm New Media – which focuses on blogging and podcasting for agriculture.
We will continue to work with SE AgNet in many ways as we have for many, many years.
