AL Livestock Market Report:

At Alabama Livestock Auctions receipts at 21 markets totaled an estimated 11,100 head compared to 9,678 last week and 9,520 year ago. Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to mostly 4.00 higher. All feeder classes sold mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeders.

At Florida Livestock Auctions receipts at 10 markets 4,386 last week 4,547, last year 4,703. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 2.00 to 4.00 higher and bulls steady. Feeder classes 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Replacement cows steady. Year to date receipts totaled 96,346 compared to 113,694 a year ago.

Feeders over 600 lbs steady to 4.00 higher, under 600 lbs mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher.       Replacement cows  steady to 3.00 higher. Year to date receipts totaled 123,423 compared to 150,177 a year ago.
