The nation’s cotton crop saw a decline in condition ratings this past week. According to U.S. Department of Agriculture meteorologist Brad Rippey, the main area of concern with cotton development and crop condition is in the Southern High Plains region.

Rippey says there is not much change in the overall condition of the nation’s peanut crop.
