Slight Increase in U.S. Cotton Production

We told you last month that cotton production here in the Southeast will be much lower this year due to Hurricane Michael. But according to the December report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), U.S. production is now forecast to be a bit higher than what the November report indicated. Chris Singh, with NASS in Washington, D.C., has the new numbers.
