Florida citrus growers now have a one-stop-shop for everything citrus research coming out of the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). A new website, monthly enewsletter and monthly podcast was announced by UF/IFAS last month during the Citrus Expo. Jack Payne, senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources with UF, says this “All In for Citrus” initiative is UF/IFAS’ effort to revamp communication with Florida citrus growers.
Southeast AgNet’s Randall Weiseman recently spoke with Payne about this new initiative and the benefits it can bring to growers.
