Now it’s not something we like to talk about but events like floods and hurricanes brings out the best in all of us. Any disaster is normally followed up by groups and individuals who offer assistance to those who are impacted by the disaster. And it is a lot more than social organizations and individuals who respond. Some of them just don’t make the evening news. To give you an example. Smithfield Foods. They gave away twenty-seven million dollars through charitable organizations in just one year. Other big contributors include names like Perdue, Sanders, Hormel and other names you know. Seeing a local organization mobilize and prepare to travel across the country to help an honorable effort. That’s great. But it includes the commercial world as much as out benevolent organizations, and those good hearted individuals. So, now you know.
