One bill of interest to agriculture in this year’s Florida legislative Session is House Bill 4035, the Pesticide Registration Bill. It did pass in the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee by a vote of 13-0 and now is in the State Affairs Committee. Southeast AgNet Tallahassee Intern Alex Lucas had a chance to talk with the bill’s sponsor, Representative Neil Combee. He has been a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2012 representing the 39th District, which includes northern Polk County and parts of northwestern Osceola County.
