Last week it was announced the United States won its World Trade Organization case against India regarding their eight-year-old ban on U.S. poultry, meat, eggs and live pigs. India claimed it needed to restrict these ag products to prevent avian influenza from entering their country. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack explains the importance of this ruling in the context of science-based trade rules.
