Southeast Unit Cattlemen’s Beef Board Positions Open

USDA is looking for nominations to serve on the Cattlemen’s Beef Board. According to AgWeb, any beef producer in the U.S. who owns cattle, or any importer who imports cattle or beef is eligible. All eligible producers or importers are encouraged to seek nomination by this coming Friday, June 5th. The Board administers the research and promotion program authorized by the Beef Promotion and Research Act of 1985. Vacancies are available in many states, including the Southeast Unit covering the states of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.
