TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam welcomes the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo back to Florida this week. The rodeo finals open Wednesday at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Fla.

“Florida is proud to be the new home of the National Circuit Finals Rodeo, one of the most exciting rodeos of the season,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam. “Events like this showcase the history and culture of Florida’s famed agriculture industry, which contributes $120 billion to our state’s economy and supports 2 million jobs.”

Last year, the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners signed a 10-year agreement with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to bring the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo to Florida.

The tournament-style National Circuit Finals Rodeo determines the national circuit champions in each event, including steer wrestling, bareback and saddle bronc, bull riding and more. The 24 qualifiers from the 12 regional circuits compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes.
