The Florida Cattlemen’s Association is holding their annual Legislative Quarterly meeting this week in Tallahassee. Over 130 cattlemen are in town talking with State Senators and Representatives on issues of importance to the cattle industry. Henry Kempfer from Deer Park, Florida is FCA President and explains what this day is all about. .

fca-legis-atwater-2015FCA members split up into groups to visit their elected officials, as one group was able to meet with Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater.

fca-legis-ltgov-2015Then a few minutes later were able to sit down to discuss issues with new Florida Lt. Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera.

fca-legis-setup-2015FCA members have also been busy setting up for this evening, as they will join the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Florida Attractions Association for a joint Legislator’s Reception and Street party on Adams Street in front of the Florida Restaurant Association building.
