Commissioner Adam H. Putnam’s Statement on the House of Representative’s Passage of Comprehensive Water Policy Bill

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam today released the following statement in regards to the House of Representative’s passage of a comprehensive water policy bill, House Bill 7003.

“Florida’s most unifying feature is our water, and the House of Representatives has shown great leadership in passing a bill that will provide a comprehensive, long-term and flexible approach to protecting the supply and quality of our water now and in the future,” stated Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam. “I would especially like to thank Speaker Steve Crisafulli and Chairman Matt Caldwell for making water policy a top priority, and we look forward to continuing to work with Senate President Andy Gardiner and the entire Senate on this issue.”
