USDA released their final crop conditions report for the year this week, and the overall cotton crop is rated 48% good to excellent with only 18% poor to very poor. And while that does make ratings for the year better than last year, USDA meteorologist Brad Rippey says there are drought effects in the four major cotton production states. He looks at the cotton and peanut harvest in Alabama, Florida and Georgia and we also look at vegetable harvest in South Florida.
