An event took place last week in Washington D.C. marking the 5th anniversary of America’s Longleaf Restoration Initiative. And during that event, Alabama landowner Salem Saloom was honored for his work with longleaf pine restoration.
And Leonard Jordan, Associate Chief for Conservation with USDA’s Natural Resources Conversation Service in Washington D.C. also commented on Dr. Saloom and the efforts to restore the longleaf pine.
